What people usually ask

Questions before you apply.

Do I need my own CMR insurance?

You’ll need CMR insurance. If you don’t have it, you can get it through us.

Is a Euro 5 tractor unit sufficient?

Yes. Because of the motorway tolls, a Euro 5 standard is required as a minimum.

Can I work as a self-employed driver?

Yes.

What sort of trailer do I need?

Semi-trailer with a fixed or walking floor.

What routes/lanes are available?

We primarily operate on the Hungary–Italy route.

How does the application process work?

You can get in touch via the form, Messenger, Viber or by phone, with absolutely no obligation. We’ll call you back, then meet in Zalaegerszeg to sit down and discuss the details.

About us

Allow me to introduce our company.

Our company has been operating since 1999 and has been providing logistics services since 2006, working with a dedicated fleet of regular subcontractors. Some of our partners have been driving their own trucks for years, while we also work with companies that operate several vehicles.

Init 2000 Kft. is a long-standing, stable member of the fast-changing freight forwarding market, with a secure financial background that you can count on in the long term.

Our main focus is the Hungary–Italy route, but we also transport goods to Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic — we can make full use of our capacity throughout the year.

It is important for me to note that this trade demands a high degree of independence, but with perseverance and diligence it can provide a decent living in the long run.

If you are only just starting out

Some advice for getting started.

01

Have a few years of experience in trucking!

02

Don't necessarily think in terms of a new rig! A three-year-old tractor unit with roughly 350 thousand kilometres can be bought for half the price of a new one, and in the hands of a skilled driver it can be used reliably for a long time yet.

03

Choose a brand you’re more familiar with or one with a service center near you.

04

Euro 5 at minimum, because of the motorway tolls.

05

Clients are always interested in the trailer dimensions and the payload capacity of the rig, not the brand of the tractor unit.

06

Trailers can be bought much more cheaply, and they lose value more slowly too, so it is worth getting one as young as possible.

07

Revenue is not income; costs must be kept strictly under control. /fuel, tolls, maintenance, insurance, etc…/

08

Choose a serious bank where you keep your accounts, make your transfers and lease from — keep it all in one place.
